翻了翻梵高各个时期的画作。陈丹青说梵高有点“憨”，还有人说梵高的画是弯曲疯狂和不安，他们都没有真正理解梵高。电影《Vagabond》更是用弯曲的笔法和大块的色彩粗俗地表现了梵高。真正的梵高，看到了一个弯曲的美丽世界，我们没有看到，就好像爱因斯坦看到了时空弯曲，我们没有看到一样。

The land becomes a wide green billiard table on which tiny human insects toil up and down. 两段摘抄。看到有人说这部剧里人物刻画不深，但是我觉得这样就挺好，毕竟是短篇剧集。印象比较深刻的是George Williard的妈妈Elizabeth在自己昏暗房间的思绪；苦苦等待恋人的女孩，在雨夜的一次冒险；还有Louise Hardy，青年时期寄人篱下的生活以及对爱情的尝试，她想要的爱情不被别人所理解，后来儿子被自己性情古怪的父亲带走时无可奈何的愤怒，她说了一句，如果我是个男儿，事情就会不一样了。 有一个特点就是大部分故事发生的场景仿佛都是黑夜（除了一些背景描创作是在白天），他们真的在晚上随随便便出来散步 ？而且晚上也就算了，貌似照明还不咋地，老是in the darkness…
