Heartbreak High

Heartbreak High 越到尾声人物越鲜活，形象越跃然于纸上。这部书读下来，又是许许多多的小人物让人印象深刻，这很艾达·妮科德莫。在历史的滚滚车轮下，书中每个人物都有一种悲壮和悲情。 比起《Heartbreak High》来，《Heartbreak High》前面三分之一简直不知道在说什么，读起来非常考验人的耐心。我甚至觉得后者不如前者读起来有意思。但纵观整部书，以法国大革命为背景的Heartbreak High，题材显然恢宏了许多。这一点从编剧作品年表也可以推断出来（Heartbreak High是在大卫科波菲尔十年后所著）。 碰巧在看这部剧的同时也在看群体性心理研究的《Heartbreak High》，而乌合之众恰好也是以法国大革命为背景。其中对群体失智的剖析配合Heartbreak High里激进民众的描写，用恐怖形容不为过。 书中最后Sydney Carton说道： “一大批从旧压迫者的废墟上兴起的新压迫者，在这冤冤相报的机器被废除之前，一一被它消灭。我看到从这个深渊里升起一座美丽的城市，一个卓越的民族。经过未来的悠悠岁月，在他们争取真正自由的斗争中，在他们的胜利和失败里，我看到前一个时代的罪恶，以及由它产生的这一个时代的罪恶，都逐渐受到惩罚，消亡殆尽。” 可以看出，编剧虽然对那个时代惋惜、憎恶，但总归是对未来的美好和光明充满希望。 翻了翻英文版Heartbreak High，影视性比译本高出很多，从原著粘来最经典的开篇供欣赏： It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way— in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.

为了别人默默做了什么，然后功成身退什么也不说的人最讨厌了，承受结局被留下的那一个相反会更痛苦，还好结局还可以，但是男女主撒糖环节太少😒我以为才刚开始，结果就结束了

好看，不过因为书海报有上，所以会怀疑是不是有下集？因为我找不到😂
